In Haiti there are no training centers that are focused solely on women.  There is not a single place for them to go and learn skills and business management that is geared towards them.  The roles of men and women in Haiti are very different.  And the empowerment women need is going to look different than what it looks like to empower men.  Women are the backbone of Haiti and hold a lot of responsibility in the household and family.  The Provision classes concentrate on teaching skill sets that can be used as a sustainable income.  The hope is to create independence, self-worth and sustainability for these women.  There are many options of classes for them to choose from and new ones always being added.  All classes are led and taught by Haitian women.
